Wow, look at all of the cobwebs in here...I haven't set foot in here since January 18th,2003. That's when I was still in college...now I'm a college graduate!!!! I'm not sure I have anything to write now, but I might think of something and come back to this place later. It's soo dark and creepy in here..

This has been one amazing week...

It was a week packed full of tv show tapings and celebrities... A week that will live on forrrrreeeeevvvvveeeerrr...

Boaz and I are doing much research for our show, so we started with a trip to the View on Wednesday. It was interesting seeing the sets and set changes that took place. On Thursday morning, we found ourselves at the Caroline Rhea Show which eventually lead to me performing on a later taping...hmmm.... And finally, today we were put on the VIP list at The View and once again really gained a lot from the experience... I'm not into details so that's the end of the post.

Well, I haven't updated this in awhile but I've been so busy with stuff that I haven't had the time... I just found out that I have been in the Soprano's house before, for a halloween party many years ago. My dad's patient is the one that designed the house and I went to a really cool party in the house before it became famous. I knew it looked familiar!!!

It's too hot and gross outside today to work, but my family is coming to see the show so it better be good. This summer has been so busy, with most of my time being devoted to work and letterman. The late show vs. daily show softball game was so much fun, especially since jon Stewart played... In other news... I went to a taping of the all new Who wants to be a millionaire with some friends from work and we had fun. My personal feeling is that they should have ended the show and that no one is going to watch this daytime edition at 4 PM on cbs. I'm going to try to post here more often...we'll see if I can do it.

Today I went to brooklyn with Ariel to take the Fireguard test for Letterman. After waiting for awhile we took the test, and both of us passed.. This means that I can inspect fire extinguishers, check sprinkler systems, and I can be in charge of getting people of of a theater in an orderly manner in case of an emergency...I am...EVANNNNN THE FIREGUARD

On May 17th I worked at the 29th Daytime Emmy Awards doing talent. What this meant was that I seated and greeted the guests as they arrived. When I got to the theater at MSG I walked down the red carpet in my tux, and people flashed photos thinking i was a soap star. I then showed Regis, Rosie, The view ladies, and others to their seats. It was also my job to pull celebs at commercials and take them to the green room. I had to take Levar Burton to the green room and had a really nice discussion with him. As we got to the green room door, Kelly Rippa comes out saying "i hope I don't fuck this up" referring to her presenting the next award. This night was amazing, and I think Barbara Walters has a crush on me....

Yesterday was a very interesting day at Letterman. I was asked to be in a short skit which will air sometime soon, but I think they are going to cut my part out...lol Look for it on Friday's Mail Bag...it involves the opening of doors!!!

I promise that I will start writing in this more often. I have so many things to say, but so little time to say them. My weekend consisted of going to the Museum of Natural History, Fred Garbo's Inflatable Theater Co., and the New York Auto Show. Never before have I seen so many beautiful cars and women in one room. Most of the women were tall and blonde, and they stood on the rotating platform with the car, talking about it's features and impressing the audience. When one of these women were done, she would high five her look-alike, and the next woman would start the presentation over again. I was hoping for some good free stuff, but all I got was brochures and more brochures. There were so many people at the show that the cars looked like a piece of fruit covered in ants. It was hard to see the cars, so you had to work your way up to them. The concept cars are the coolest attractions at this show.

There's nothing much more to report. Still trying to get tix to The Graduate, and I've got three movie screenings coming up. School is almost over!!! I promise I will update this more often now. :-)

Last night Anthony and I went to eat a late dinner and we passed by Reefer Madness, finding a crowd in front of the theater. I look up and see John Cusack right next to us and then Neve Campbell...there was also some other guy who Anthony recognized from Serendipity. I brushed up against Mr. Cusack as I tried to get through the crowd....then they left to go to the bar across the street, follwing directly behind us...so cool!!

Ok, well I just waited on line for two hours to try to get rush tickets to Urinetown...The last one was given to a family in front of me, but I did meet some nice people, and that's always a good thing. While waiting online a pigeon went to the bathroom on the girl behind me and some water dripped on the family in front of me, so it felt like both Urine and Shit town. Back to the Batmobile!!!!! BAAM! ZOOM! SPLAT!!! WACK!!!! FLAPOO!!!

Anthony and I went over to Jessica's to watch Spy Kids. While Anthony hated the movie, I thought it was a great movie for kids and was fun for adults too!! I myself like any movie that has cool gadgets.... Anthony still likes Bagger Vance, which I don't quite understand. Maybe it's that Matt Damon? We'll see how Mulhulland Drive is when we screen it on Tuesday night. I might also want to mention that everyone and anyone should go see Reefer Madness at the Variety Theater (14th street and 3rd Ave). "Turning all your children into hooligans and whores"

Well, now that I am back at school, I figure I will start posting again every now and then. I am still a page at the Late Show and loving it! In addition to that I am interning at a company called Final Cut USA. Those along with the NET screenings and classes have been keeping me very busy. Ok, well a lot of things have happend since I last wrote, the big news being that I got a job as audience page at The Late Show With David Letterman....I went in for training last week and already worked entrance door and main floor during the tapings. Bill Murray was on one of the shows, and was hysterical. After the show, he calmly walked out the front door of the theater and walked back to his hotel...How cool is that!! No limo, no taxi...just walked past everyone who was online for the second show that night. I am going to have too much fun working for DAVE!!!! Last night was the program board boat cruise around Manhattan. Three hours of pure delight, and an opportunity to wave to lady liberty. Ok, now it's time to study for finals, Goodbye!

Ok, so I'm not really into this whole blog thing...I mean, I feel as though I have to force myself to write stuff down here, even though noone is reading it. It's more of a personal thing for me to have I guess. The other thing is, I would rather tell stuff to people in person than through writing. So, this explains why I haven't been writing anything lately, besides the fact that I've had a ton of stuff to do. Maybe I'll get into it when I have some free time.....

Another Beautiful Day....Last night was a free screening of Bridget Jones's Diary with the lovely Rene Zellwegger and Hugh Grant. I thought it was funny, but not really my cup of tea...I'm not a big fan of placing american actors and actresses in english parts. I think they should use ENGLISH actresses!!! That makes too much sense to me. Tonight is our free screening of BLOW which is really going to be good, I can feel it...plus Paul Reubens is in it so that guarantees two thumbs up quality. Everyone seems to have Oscar hangovers. Overall, the results are somewhat disappointing but Steve Martin was very funny as he usually tends to be. I thought it was amazing that they got those astronauts to do that intro....really cool. I'm sure we'll be hearing about the show all day today, so the Oscar fever continues....

ACADEMY AWARD FEVER----I don't know about you, but I am really excited about Steve Martin hosting tonight's Academy Awards show. I'm still unsure who is going to win, but I'm very disappointed that Wonderboys wasn't nominated for Best Picture. As much as I enjoy Tom Hanks' work, I must say that the Academy has to give other actors a chance. Michael Douglas should have been nominated for best actor in Wonder Boys. If you haven't seen the movie, go to your local video store and do yourself the pleasure of renting it. The last thing I would like to say is good luck to Pamela Dennis. She is a well known fashion designer for the stars and is an alum of my high school, Newark Academy in Livingston New Jersey. Many of the stars will be wearing Pam's designs tonight. Tonight the stars will shine, as will our good old friend Oscar.
